Parks

The City of Port Phillip is full of green spaces which are home to a variety of native and exotic plants and animals. A full list of our parks, gardens and reserves can be found on our Parks and Playgrounds page.

Citywide Parks Services handle most maintenance tasks in our parks and green spaces, such as mowing, weed management, garden bed maintenance, and playground repairs. These works are carried out on a routine basis to ensure all our green spaces stay in good condition for everyone to enjoy. You can find the routine maintenance schedule on our website. 

There are a few areas within the City of Port Phillip which Council is not responsible for maintaining, like Elwood Canal which is managed by Melbourne Water, and Albert Park which is managed by Parks Victoria.
